Write The Light - Icon Writing Retreat

Take part in this special retreat, where you will be guided by the local iconographer, Karen Blampied, in the spiritual journey of writing an icon.

Please join us and share in this spiritual pilgrimage of writing the icon of the Transfiguration. Traditionally, in iconography we say that ‘in painting the icon we climb the mountain of the Transfiguration, which, will all be revealed at the retreat.

Only 10 spaces availble 

£80 per person, subsidised from £140. Icon boards, pigments and all other materials will be provided, however, each participant will need to bring their own paint brushes: One each of size 0, 10/0 and 3/0 (please note that as good a quality as you can afford is beneficial).
